Have you ever lost yourself in the sea of endless tasks that blast you when you have to work on something important? Or your cell phone has gone down while you have a pending report to complete? First of all, numerous people can’t utilize their full day, only because they are not successful in preparing their time.

It’s all about our conscious choices. H. Jackson Brown Jr. put it best:

“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”

So, How to get back on reality?

Google Calendar is an underrated tool for stress management, improving memory, and easy-to-manage task structure. When you remember your birthday and the next holiday plans with the Google Calendar at the moment, then you’re not alone. You are not using it’s full potential yet.

Why use Google Calendar?

Google Calendar is a real game-changer if you can use it properly. Once you get together and become one messy jumble of growing obligation, it can help you progress with your everyday tasks. It may sound counterintuitive, but you can build yourself a much-needed breathing room by taking time to carefully isolate each task and giving every one its own allocated time slot.

How to increase your productivity with google calendar.

  1. Frame your Day with Time Blocks- Several colored calendar dates will help you with the prioritization of the tasks ahead. The key feature in the Google calendar is that when you want it to be planned, you can drag and drop objects. When you have picked the wrong time, for instance, drag it to the right time and drop it.
  2. Count your Plannings Practically- Seek to ensure that your time-blocking is practical and ensure that Google Calendar meetings, goals, and reminders work. Hopefully, when you want to set aside 5 minutes of an appeal, which you believe secretly may take 45, it will take you off your schedule and bring you back to the sense of disappointment that you are trying to escape.
  3. Mark your Repetitive Tasks- Specific tasks will come up repeatedly. To save you from adding these into your calendar individually, Google Calendar allows you to set these to ‘repeat’ at daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or even custom intervals.
  4. Enhance your Team work- The collaboration in working environments is difficult sometimes, but Google Calendar can hold its weight flawlessly. It can be simpler to work together and be on the same page by sharing the schedule with your teammates and setting shared targets or deadlines.
  5. Get Notifications and Event Reminders- Developing a habit of planning your schedule is essential, and Google Calendar helps your device to synchronize visual schedules. It will be more materialistic because you have a visual representation of your time, and then you can draw a simple picture in your mind of what must be achieved.

Google Calendar will assist you in planning your working day and stop wasting time when you use it to create priorities or reminders, schedule meetings or calls, or even stop overdue pause.
